PBF is a congregation full of those formerly dead in their trespasses and sins, but now by the blood of Christ, brought near to God and adopted into His family. We understand ourselves to be spiritual adoptees. Therefore, we seek to reflect the heart of our Father for the fatherless by caring for orphans (James 1:27). We believe adoption to be both a way of caring for the weak and of imaging the gospel to a lost world.

The Orphan Care Ministry at PBF exists to assist families in the whole process of adoption, from the earliest stages of exploring the possibility of adopting to fundraising to post-adoption assimilation, counseling, and mentoring.
